<lj:music>illinois was impressive to me, too.</lj:music>

Hillary Clinton won the Oklahoma primary with just under 229,000 votes, and 54% of the democratic ticket. So roughly 400,000 Democrats voted in Oklahoma, right? Examining the Republican ticket, however, the winner, John McCain, received only 123,000 votes. Second place on the Republican ticket went to Mike Huckabee, who received 112,000 votes. This means that not only did Hillary Clinton receive almost twice as many votes as the top two Republican candidates combined, but also that more Democrats voted in Oklahoma than Republicans. Oklahoma is the new Michigan because if this trend continues, Oklahoma will become a swing state, and how cool is that?

    <lj:music>Supreme Beings of Leisure</lj:music>

Around this time in every United States election year, I start to get crazy into presidential campaigns and I like to go to all of the front runners(republican and democrat) campaign websites and sign up for emails. I like to do this because I get really biased views from both sides, and I can do my own research from there. It is easier and more informative for me, and I like to be able to correct people in their misconceptions and misinformation, as well as encourage when they do the same for others.

I went to Edwards' website first, as he is my candidate of choice(it seems paradoxical that the white male has the disadvantage). i registered for email updates and news on his website, read the information I needed, and moved on to Obama. I registered at Barack Obama's website for the same things, and moved on to Hillary Clinton.

After I had registered at those three sites, I moved on to the republican party, as there are no more democratic front runners. I went to Mike Huckabee's site and tried to register for emails(at my junk address, because i know these emails will carry on post-election), but when I clicked "OK," it said the page could not be displayed. I tried again. And again. It never worked. I think that says something about the Mike Huckabee presidency, should it happen(let's hope not).

When I grew tired of Old Boy's puppet show and theatrics, I moved on to the next douchebag... the devil himself, Mitt Romney. I almost registered at his website, annoying as it was that he for some reason wants to know my entire medical history, mother's maiden name, and preferred brand of toothpaste, but when I got to the bottom, it said "How would you like to contribute to the campaign?" It listed several options, including "all of the above," but not "none of the above." I just ignored that question and clicked on the "submit" button, and it told me some bullshit on the lines of "one or more fields missing, cannot continue until you submit to satan." So naturally, I went back to make sure everything was there. Broken bones, check. Hott, check. Crest(the sparkly kind for children), check. And then I realised that they wanted me to volunteer for Mitt Romney's campaign, and I cannot, in all honesty, help that man become president. I am way too excited to escape the Bush regime to help repeat it.

I really wanted those emails(not really) but I guess I will have to deal with reading about it elsewhere. I tried to find a comment page, but failed. Oh well.

The only thing you need to do in order to participate is to be one of the first five to reply to this.

I am also going to add the caveat that if I don't have your snail mail address, I would like it please.
This question was rumored to be given on a University of Washington chemistry mid-term. The answer by one student was so profound that the professor shared it with colleagues, via the Internet, and thus, we now have the solution to what is hell: Exothermic or endothermic?

Bonus Question: Is Hell exothermic (gives off heat) or endothermic (absorbs heat)?

Most of the students wrote proofs of their beliefs using Boyle's Law (gas cools when it expands and heats when it is compressed), or some variant.

One student, however, wrote the following:

First, we need to know how the mass of Hell is changing in time. So we need to know the rate at which souls are moving into Hell and the rate at which they are
leaving. I think that we can safely assume that once a soul gets to Hell, it will not leave. Therefore, no souls are leaving.

As for how many souls are entering Hell, let's look at the different religions that exist in the world today. Most of these religions state that if you are not a member of their religion, you will go to Hell. Since there is more than one of these religions and since people do not belong to more than one religion, we can project that all souls go to Hell.

With birth and death rates as they are, we can expect the number of souls in Hell to increase exponentially. Now, we look at the rate of change of the volume in Hell because Boyle's Law states that in order for the temperature and pressure in Hell to stay the same, the volume of Hell has to expand proportionately as souls are added.

This gives two possibilities:

1. If Hell is expanding at a slower rate than the rate at which souls enter Hell, then the temperature and pressure in Hell will increase until all Hell breaks loose.

2. If Hell is expanding at a rate faster than the increase of souls in Hell, then the temperature and pressure will drop until Hell freezes over.

So which is it?

If we accept the postulate given to me by a Miss Teresa King during my freshman year that, "It will be a cold day in Hell before I sleep with you", and take into account the fact that I slept with her last night, then number 2 must be true, and thus I am sure that Hell is exothermic.

The corollary of this theory is that since Hell has frozen over, it follows that it is not accepting any more souls and is, therefore, extinct...leaving only Heaven, thereby proving the existence of a divine being.

Which explains why, last night, Miss King kept shouting "Oh my God!"

The student received the only "A" in the class.
